Q1: Is there a smaller size pack available because I am looking at 1-2 slices a day?
Ans: we launched this size because we want you to experience a perfect, gorgeous full loaf. It is not a big loaf, it is a medium sized loaf. Super mini loaves do not give it that height that we want to at least call it a Banana Bread loaf.
Here is what you can do to solve your portion controlling: Once your Banana Bread cools down completely, take the number of slices you want to eat today or tomorrow and FREEZE the remaining slices in an airtight container. These freeze up quite well for upto 1 month (again, it is the freezer compartment and NOT the refrigerator section). Then whenever you need your Banana Bread for breakfast or snack, defrost them, warm up and enjoy!
Q2: Can I make TNB Banana Bread in the microwave?
Ans: You absolutely can. You will need to use the “convection” feature of your microwave oven. It MUST have this baking feature. Most do.
Q3: How does it taste?
Ans: This one is nutty, moist with banana flavours keeping the essence of traditional banana bread.
Q4: If I am not a pro at baking, what is the level of difficulty of baking TNB Banana Bread?
Ans: In baking a Banana Bread, the basics are pretty straight forward:
✅Make the dry mix using dry ingredients viz. flour, sugar, etc.
✅Make the wet mix using bananas, oil, milk, etc.
✅Then mix the wet and dry mix and BAKE!
While it seems a simple process, the catch lies in finding the perfect recipe that ensures a consistent result every single time, and then weighing and measuring of the ingredients.

Q6: What is the next step after making Banana Bread batter?
Ans: Just pour the batter in a loaf pan and BAKE! That’s all.
Q7: I do not have a loaf pan. What else can I use?
Ans: We insist you make an investment to get a full feel of the loaf. But it bakes equally good in any other baking-friendly pan. We have even made MUFFINS (check our previous post).
Q8: How do I bake it in the microwave oven?
Ans: All you need to do it preheat the oven at the desired temperature. It beeps once the temp.is achieved. Then you slide your loaf pan in and press START!
Q9: How do I use preheating option in the microwave?
Ans: Preheating automatically starts once you enter the desired temperature that you want your oven to reach at before putting in the loaf pan. It beeps onits own too once that happens.
Q10: Can I make it in my OTG?
Ans: You can make it in anything that says that it can bake, any oven. OTG, absolutely!
Q11: Can I microwave it?
Ans: You can never ever do that. Microwave mode is for heating purposes. We need to BAKE. Please only make use of the baking feature (CONVECTION) in your microwave oven settings.
Q12: Which level do I put it in while baking?
Ans: Middle level would be ideal.
Q13: Is this an instant bread like your mug cakes?
Ans: No, these are labour of love. These need complete baking. These are not instant mixes.
Q14: Do I need to check in between baking or change the pan’s position?
Ans: Absolutely not. Once you put it in the oven, you can forget it until it completes it baking time. You need not monitor for any baking related reasons.
Q15: Is it mandatory to use a parchment paper lining in the loaf pan?
Ans: It isn’t. But it is a pretty cool hack that will save you time and effort in all your baking adventures. You could brush the pan with some oil and dust flour if you do not have parchment paper.
